The Teachers Assembly Meeting was attended by GSC President who informed the students about the teachers' view on the student absences and that they concluded that the GSC should come up with measured aimed at reducing the number of absences. The discussion followed, but no concrete measures were mentioned.

The Representatives of the Parents Council expressed their wish for organizing a meeting with the Executive Board of the GSC or for attending one of the General Council Meetings. The GSC unanimously endorsed this proposal with a declaration that the cooperation between the two Councils is one of the key elements for well functioning of both of them.

There has been a substantial increase in the number of student absences in October compared to the number in September. In some classes the increase is even above 100 %.

The Representatives agreed to organize a school party in November and the organization team was formed. More details for the Representative will be available on Monday when the Coordinator for GSC returns from a business trip.

There were not enough Senior Yr. Reps., thus the discussion about the Senior Yr. Party was postponed.

The next General Meeting was set for December 1, 2006.
