The meeting began with the overview of Gymnasium's performance on the Book Fair. It was stated the the performance was highly successful. We had three promotions (New School, Activities in Gymnasium, Young Creators). Seven medias captured our performance including the Television of Republika Srpska and Television of Bosnia-Herzegovina. We were the only school in the whole country to have its place at the Book Fair and our performance also helped realize our goal – to get new PCs for our Computers Classroom.
Proposed set of School Behavior Rules was read to the GSC Members who reacted only to the 1st Article regarding the closing time of school's entrance. The Members demanded the school entrance to remain open during the whole day. The changed proposal was unanimously accepted.
Sports Committee was formed by the following Members: Tanja Babic,
Anja Kavic, Milos Milovanovic, Lela Draganic, Tamara Pusic. The
Committee membership is not exclusive for the GSC Members and every
student can join it.
Due
to the recent problems in the BLUS, the organization of the HS
Students' Day is not certain. Still, Gymnasium is going to prepare
the appropriate program and Members can register plays, bands and
other cultural program.
Electronic Reading Room was realized and now there are five PCs with
internet connection at students' disposal.
Members were informed that the National Theater of Republic
of Srpska will send their offer to Gymnasium in mid October regarding the yearly subscription.
GSC Members demanded the conditions in the toilets to be improved as soon as possible, especially the lighting.
GSC also discussed the issue of music during lunch breaks. The following Decision was adopted with 21 votes FOR, 3 AGAINST and 0 UNDECIDED: "Every shift will have a DJ from each class who will play the music at the earlier adopted schedule of genres. The DJs will rotate weekly."
